Sales Controller m/f/d
The SGB-SMIT Group is a leading international supplier of transformers with locations in Germany, Europe, Asia, and the USA. With a total of around 4,000 employees, we develop and manufacture oil distribution, cast resin, and power transformers, special equipment, and compact stations. Your contribution to success 📈:
Preparation of revenue, sales, and cost budgets, as well as rolling forecasts for profit centers, market segments, and product groups
Analysis and monitoring of margins, contribution margins, and sales-related key performance indicators
Preparation and refinement of monthly sales reports
Conducting target-actual comparisons, including pre- and post-calculations, and deriving recommendations for action
Identifying and evaluating weaknesses in the sales process and developing appropriate optimization measures
Advising sales management on pricing, discount systems, and customer evaluations
Further development and optimization of controlling tools, BI systems, and CRM structures in accordance with group-wide standards
Analysis of accounts receivable and assistance in preparing the weekly cash flow and liquidity forecast
Active collaboration with the sales and finance departments and other relevant teams to support business decisions
What we are looking for 🔎:
A successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting
Alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the field of controlling
In-depth knowledge of sales and financial controlling
Very strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems (ideally SAP)
Proficiency in using business intelligence tools and CRM applications
Analytical and structured approach to work, as well as a strong aptitude for numbers
High level of initiative, strong communication skills, and consulting expertise
Good written and spoken English skills
